Our Company has been incorporated as Chrogene Aarogyam Biotech Private limited under the companies Act, 2013, in October, 2017. The company is focused in innovating healthcare products to address the unmet needs of both domestic and global markets at large. It aims to achieve this by partnering with institutions of excellence and thereby leveraging the vast potential available. We believe in the mantra of "Healthcare for all, being more accessible and affordable" specially for the people in the Indian subcontinent. It has been recognized as a Start-up by Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion (DIPP), with reg. no. DIPPI1212.
Chrogene Aarogyam is also actively pursuing to extend the knowledge and key skills to academia and industries. Due efforts are made towards a convergence for the industry and the academic partnership. We are also actively involved in conducting workshops and skill development programmes for Life science, Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology sector.

Vision Statement -
Founder & Director : She carries over 25 years of experience which includes both academia and Industry. Her academic qualification includes, Masters in Human Genetics from Andhra University, Visakhapatnam and doctoral degree in Cancer Genetics in haematological malignancies, from department of Genetics, Osmania University Hyderabad. A recipient of UICC, ICRETT fellowship to carry out part of her Ph.D. work at Institute of Molecular Medicine, Sir John Radcliff Hospital, IMM, OXFORD, UK, under the mentorship of Dr. Lyndal Kearney. Also, she was a recipient of CSIR and ICMR fellowships for Post-Doctoral Research at Osmania University and Centre for DNA Finger Printing and Diagnostics (CDFD). She worked in the capacity of group leader in the clinical Reference lab (CRL) at VIMTA LIFE SCIENCES, Hyderabad and in (R&D) at BIOGENEX LIFE SCIENCES, Hyderabad. Apart from this, she holds a PG diploma in Patent law from NALSAR University Hyderabad, Advanced biotechnology patents from WIPO and practical training from Indian Institute of Patent and Trade mark Hyderabad. She is actively involved in giving guest lectures and workshops in IPR for biotechnology and life science students. She is a visiting faculty for National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education & Research (NIPER), Hyderabad. She has participated is various international conferences to present papers and was a Co-Organizer for ICSE -2017 International conference on Digital Health Initiative. She is also a registered Patent Agent with the registration number: IN/PA-3615.
Co-founder & Director : A Mechanical engineer by Profession, hegraduated from Annamalai University, Tamil Nadu in the year 1964. He started his career from Tamil Nadu Electricity Board (TNEB) and after a short stint joined as a Graduate trainee with Neyveli Lignite Corporation (NLC) and served there till 1970. His career graph took an upward trend after he joined India’s one of prestigious public sector companies, the Bharat Heavy Electricals (BHEL) where he served for nearly a decade till 1980. Subsequent to this, he moved over to National thermal power corporation (NTPC) and worked for nearly 25 years in various senior level positions and super-annuated as Regional Executive Director, Southern region. Being a strong believer and follower of Vethathiri Maharishi’s principles, he is presently teaching Manavakalai in schools and colleges for the last 13 years. He has also obtained master’s degree in Human Excellence from Bharathiar University.
Mentor & Advisor (Healthcare Device Design & Development) : Associate Professor & Head of the Department, Biomedical Engineering, Osmania University, Hyderabad. His areas of interest include Medical Embedded Systems, Deep Brain Stimulation, Biomedical Instrumentation. He carries with him impeccable credentials as an academician and industry consultant. He is consultant for Amaraja Batteries Pvt. Ltd. He graduated from Institution of Electronics and Tele-communication engineers in the year 1982 and his post-graduation from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU(H) in 1986. He was the pioneer in establishing Biomedical Instrumentation Lab and Biomedical Equipment’s Labs in the Dept. of BME, Osmania University. Also, developed Biomedical Signal Processing Laboratory in BME Dept., (OU). He has more than 40 research publications in both National and International peer reviewed journals, authored 2 books and holds more than 6 patents.
Our first Project entitled " NON-INVASIVE POINT OF CARE DIAGNOSTICS FOR SICKLE CELL DISEASE " has received its seed funding from BIRAC-BIG in the 13th call.
